At Burks Vision Clinic, we are proud of our staff. Each member of our team strives to provide patients with an outstanding experience. We take pride in our office and it is our goal to ensure each patient receives the highest standard of eye care.

Dr. Ronald Burks
Dr. Burks did his undergraduate work at University of Central Arkansas and completed his graduate studies at Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, TN where he received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1980.

Dr. Burks is a board certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care and contact lenses. He is trained in the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular diseases and vision anomalies, managing eye conditions as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Burks is a member of American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa-Honor Fraternity and Lonoke Lions Club. Ron, his wife, Debbie, have three children, Brittany, Jordan, and Tanner. He enjoys running, hunting and all types of outdoors activities and sports.

Dr. Brittany Burks Boyette

Dr. Boyette completed her Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN.  She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

Dr. Boyette completed additional externship training in ocular disease at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM.  As a board certified optometric physician, Dr. Boyette provides primary eye care. These services include comprehensive eye health and vision examinations and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and vision disorders such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. 

She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.  Brittany and her husband, Jennings, live in Little Rock and have one daughter, Mary Caroline.  Jennings is an ENT physician.  Brittany enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, going to the lake, running, and rooting for the Razorbacks.  The family attends Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church.  Dr. Boyette works exclusively at the Sherwood location.
