 About Us At Burks Vision Clinic, we are proud of our staff. Each member of our team strives to provide patients with an outstanding experience. We take pride in our office and it is our goal to ensure each patient receives the highest standard of eye care. Dr. Ronald Burks  Dr.
Burks did his undergraduate work at University
of Central Arkansas and completed his graduate
studies at Southern College of Optometry, Memphis,
TN where he received his Doctorate of Optometry
degree in 1980.Dr. Burks is a board certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care and contact lenses. He is trained in the clinical diagnosis, treatment, and management of ocular diseases and vision anomalies, managing eye conditions as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Dr. Burks is a member of American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa-Honor Fraternity and Lonoke Lions Club. Ron, his wife, Debbie, have three children, Brittany, Jordan, and Tanner. He enjoys running, hunting and all types of outdoors activities and sports. Dr. Brittany Burks Boyette  Dr. Boyette completed her Doctorate of Optometry in 2007 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.Dr. Boyette completed additional externship training in ocular disease at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. She has special interest in the treatment of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and corneal disease. She is a board certified optometric physician. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Arkansas Optometric Association, and the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. Brittany is married to Jennings Boyette, an Otolaryngology resident physician at UAMS. She enjoys spending time at the lake, running, rooting for the Razorbacks, and walking her yellow lab, Bailey. Dr. Boyette works exclusively at the Sherwood location. |
